Situated in the southern end of the Alcornocales Nature Reserve, this recently built villa (2009) belongs to the ‘El Cuartón’ housing estate, which was declared a Centre of National Tourist Interest in the seventies.
It is only a 5-minute drive from the town of Tarifa and its beaches, and affords splendid views of the mountains, the Strait of Gibraltar and Africa.
From the terraces and viewpoints you can see colonies of griffon vultures flying over the Sierra del Bujeo mountain range, and if you are lucky and patient, you might even be able to spot fin whales as they migrate between the Atlantic and Mediterranean, or the powerful sperm whales diving deep into the water to look for their favourite morsel – giant squids.
From the villa you can also go on walks round the Nature Reserve and enjoy the cork oak forests, streams and biodiversity.
The house has six double bedrooms and six fully-equipped bathrooms. It is distributed into three independent room areas, as well as a lounge and terraces with several rooms.
It has a swimming pool and a large garden, both private.
Minimum stay: one week.
